Our world has changed drastically, and so has the course of our lives. I am with you. In the midst of the unexpected from the end of 2019, and what is still continuing in our lives, the best that we can do as human beings is to love one another. I believe from the ongoing journey from engagements to weddings, pregnancy to births, and enjoying our families, truly holds a message that reminds us to bind love around our neck and have it written on the tablet of our hearts. It's a very sweet and powerful truth that I think we can all pause and reflect on. It's what we need the most in this life. And as a photographer, I truly desire to capture it all for you the best that I can.
I look back at my grandparent's photo albums and wonder what life was like for them.
Through their times of hardships and unexpected changes, they stood their ground and continued to live life with the love they had,
the best they could.
Personally, I am grateful I got to see that through their photos at such a young age. And I am happy that those photos still live on, because although my grandparents aren't physically with me today, I get to see their stories through photos and remember who they were and reflect on who I am today.
Life is short but can be sweet.
So my hope is that when our children and children's children see their family's photos, they would also remember
the small victories, the pockets of sweetness, and even the challenges.
Maybe they'll dream bigger, be more confident, more grateful, encouraged, deeply moved, and maybe even receive or give forgiveness.
We never know.
So...if you and your loved ones had to postpone weddings, skip annual family photos/milestones, events/birthdays, you're not alone.
We can testify the love we have for each other, and continue to keep a record of how far we've all come in the midst of what our world is going through.
And I am here for it.
